These 3 steps are how I became vegan! Veganism is a lifestyle that abstains from the use of animal products. The vegan diet includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds and many more.
This step-by-step guide will help you to become vegan. It will also teach you how to maintain a healthy vegan lifestyle.
Step One Of Becoming Vegan
To start out becoming vegan you should start by becoming vegetarian for 5 weeks to get your body used to not eating meat. If you fail and end up eating meat try again and just eat meat three times a week and go down to two times a week and then one time a week, this will help your body adjust. When you end up going 5 weeks without eating meat you are ready for step 2!
Step Two Of Becoming Vegan
Now that you completed 5 weeks of not eating meat you are now ready to go 1 week without eating any dairy at all. To not eat any dairy you have to be careful and check the back of the labels of the food that you eat and make sure that it does not say milk. Once you go 1 week without dairy you are ready to go 1 more week. When you complete 2 whole weeks of no dairy you are ready for step 3!
Step Three Of Becoming Vegan
Congratulations Now that you have gone 5 weeks with no meat and 2 weeks of not having dairy. Now it is time to go 2 weeks without eggs. Just like the dairy you need to be sure to check labels that have no milk and eggs written on the label.
Congralations you are now on your way of becoming a vegan and haveing a better life style!
